please help
i took of the wallpaper and the third layer of wallpaper pulled off some of the drywall because it was attached directly to the drywall. I sanded the crap out of the walls and put on bulls eye 123 primer..after the first coat it is bubbling . any suggestions on what I should do? I know eventually i have to apply joint compound but i dont think i can apply it with all of these bubbles in the wall..can I?

You should have used Zinsser's Gardz instead of the bullseye. You will have to take a knife and cut out the bubbling areas of paper, prime those areas with Gardz, skim them, sand them, then prime the entire wall with Gardz again, and finally apply your finish paint.

Sorry i lead you a stray. I was in the same stituation in my bathroom as you. The bullseye didn't bubble on my walls. I did however screen the walls after i primed and then a second coat. Thats what i also did. Bought the 5 gallon joint compound allready mixed and skimmed the walls.
