Picture molding wainscot in foyer and stairway
 

We are starting this project in our Foyer and hallway. I am just not sure if you should use a flat, semi-gloss or high gloss white. What would you recommend???

Semi-gloss. But experiment with the high gloss, the results could turn out dramatic.

Great, thank you. we did our crown molding in a high gloss because that is what I was told to do it in from the Home Depot guy..... is this right?

its personal preference on type of paint. There really is no right or wrong answer when it comes to what paint to use on walls, trim and ceilings. Now there are typical things but no right and wrong.
