I have wood kitchen cabinets from which I want to peel off the paint and then stain them- to give the look of wood again . Is this something possibe to do? Please reply if you have one. Thanks

peeling off paint from kitchen cabinets

Darn near impossible,IMO, the paint gets into the wood too far. MAJOR sanding would be required and even then probably not enough.

Welcome G, I agree with Chris. While it's not impossible, it's impractical--it would very time consuming and costly. Another option, also costly, would be to have them wood grained, a decorative technique where painted surface is made to look like wood.
What color are they now and what do you hope for them to look like after treatment?
