peeling latex paint


painting living room and used tape around sections of bay window. primed with valspar primer and used valspar acrylic latex paint. when removing tape paint peeled away from window and is showing previous finish. how can this be fixed?

The Cause, Letting paint dry, then removing tape. Remove tape ASAP after painting. Unless your really really slow. Then cut it with a razor to remove as you go.

Cure, Re-paint. Touch up might be a idea for flat paint, but if you have any sheen to the paint that will not work well.
