Question

paints

I am painting a stucco house in florida
i have been given two quotes
one painter wants to use sherwin williams loxon (elastomeric) paint on walls and duration on trim
Another painter want to use color wheel everlastic paint on walls
I want the best paint so I don't have to do this again for years.
Their quotes are about a $1000 apart.
Which paint is better for a florida house on the panhandle
thank you

If there's a $1000 gap between bids, I think I'd find out more about the painters instead of the difference between paints. For your home, either product is gonna perform well as long as they're applied properly and the prep work is done right.

You did not mention how big a job this is? What percentage of the overall bids is $1,000?
