So the house I live in has wallpaper in the bathrooms. Well the wallpaper seams were starting to curl up and show... so I thought it would be a good idea to remove the wallpaper and then paint over the walls. So I finally got ALL the wallpaper off the walls with some wallpaper removal solution. So now all the wallpaper is off the walls and I scrubbed and sponged the walls to remove the residue. Afterwards I felt the walls and they didn't feel like they had any residue on it.
Well I started priming the walls *the primer has a tint to it cause I'm using a darker color* by rolling it on and i notice that there is still some white showing through... I thought since I was painting grey over white this was normal and I would have to put on a second coat. Well once the paint dried I started painting over the second coat and I notice the first coat is starting to come off and not sticking. Clearly the glue residue is still on it. So now I have these walls with paint rolled on it and now I don't know what to do! What is the best way to remove the glue residue from the wall with a thin coat of primer on it?
here is a picture of the primer I'm using btw so you know what type of primer it is
