Painting wall for Projector

Hello everyone,

I'm finishing off my basement and will be putting a projector down there - I want to shine the projector directly on the wall - I wanted to know if there is a color and finish that is the best to paint the wall where the projector will be shining?

Thanks a lot.

Try these links.. They sell special type of paint specifically for this purpose.. expensive but seems promising. I haven't tried it personally but heard from a friend that it is good.

Buying a screen might, in fact, be cheaper.

I've seen quite a few posts online saying that Sherwin Williams SuperPaint Flat in Luminous White was the way to go. (You'll have to ask for the Luminous white, at least at the stores I go to, they put the Extra White out front.)
