Painting under eves

I have a 1920's craftsman bungalow with large eves. Maybe 2 1/2 feet wide or so on front and sides of house. The house is being prepped for paint. The under side of eves have always been white matching the white trim, and the body of the house a different color. Seems like too much white. BUT, what color is the proper way to paint under the eves, trim color or color of the wood siding of the house?

I have seen it both ways, but I think eaves painted trim color looks the best.

Yes, I think your right. After studying many pictures on my type of house I have seen 90% of the eves were painted trim color. The Wife and I will have to make our own decision on this subject, but I'm with the trim paint for the eves..Thanks
