painting side by side front steel doors

Hello Ideas please!
I have two steel double doors to re paint.
Each has some blistered / bubbles in some areas, I plan on sanding and filling these areas with filler. like a bondo, to get the same smooth finish,
whole process seems to be a slow process if done right.

The question I have is: these doors get real hot from the morning sun, for about 3 to 4 hours, today they were so hot i could not put my hand on either one.
I'm open for suggestions on the best paint to use.I thought a spray pain would give a real nice finish? But i would like a brush mark free paint job.
But I will pay for the good paint I want a nice looking job.

I have years of painting but I have never had to paint metal doors to take the hot sun.

I forgot to mention it looks like the metal under the chiped paint ( is galvanized ) or coated metal

Hmmm...I wonder if it bubbled from the heat, or if the wrong coating (paint) was used?

Is it just one layer/color peeling up?

How old are the doors?

The doors are about 18 years years old, I peeled a chip of paint off and
it looked like only the original first coating of paint.
A white primer with a posible two coats of green top coat, type of pain what ever the manufacture used ( ? ) no name as to the manufacture,
I can see the metal has a coating on the under surface.
I can sand and fill any un-eveness area, I would rather not strip the whole two doors, But I do have a heat gun, if need too. I rather not use chemicals on metal doors. especialy if there is an under coating to be ruined.

I will start this project in two weeks !
