Painting PVC

I'm using more and more pvc type trim boards. How should I prep the surface for paint and what paint should I use?

just clean it good and use a high quality acrylic paint
if you want to use a dark color check out the vinyl safe paints from sherwin williams

Most quality acrylic paints will stick if the trim is clean, clean, clean
Use a cleaner that doesn't leave any residue such as an ammonia-based cleaner or the Azec Approved "Power" brand

Though in my experience I can't deny the superior "sticking power" of BM's "Aura" line on properly prepped "PVC/Plastic/Composite" type trim
"Sticks like glue" as they say....
Not an easy thing on this type of substrate

Painting PVC

the thing with painting pvc is the paint is not ''sucked in'' like paint on wood so it can take quite awhile for the paint to fully cure
