Our house has stained wood trim and my wife wants to paint it white. What is the best way to do this? I am not going to sand it all so was thinking spraying the trim with primer and then adding the top coat. Any suggestions or warnings?
a stain killing, blocking primer is called for
any paint store will have them
Ben Moore,Fresh Start is a good one.
Kilz oil is another if you can stand the smell, any other Kilz , not so good.
