Painting over plywood

I'm wanting to paint my laundry room. The walls are just unfininshed oriented strandboard. Can I paint over it? Would I have to use a primer first?

Yeah you'll want to prime first
You'll want a good primer/sealer for wood
If you go to your local paint shop, Ben Moore, Sherwin Williams, (not a paint dept.) and tell them what you want to do they'll set you up

One coat of primer/sealer and two color coats of a good quality paint and you should be fine
