Painting Over Mold, Best thing to do?

So my washroom seems to build up mold continuously , From all the steam and dust. ugh, fine.
But It's starting to build up and it's very annoying for a very long time(years). I know it's not good for your health for obvious reasons.

How should I approach this, shall I try and clean it with vinegar, bleach? still dosen't work so well anyhow. I'm in the process of painting over it. But I'm still trying to decide whether cleaning it properly and layering it with paint will keep away the mold. besides keeping the fan on after a steamy shower and wipe down wet surfaces.

See it might be the old washroom ceilings and walls that are filled with mold inside the drywall/wall itself since I own my home its more expensive and I couldn't afford too renovate my home.

Any suggestions?

You need to eliminate the source of moisture, then elimimate the mold. Painting over it will do NO good, it will just come back through the paint.

If mold spores grow through paint film, the paint will ALL have to be removed. Mold cannot be encapsulated by paint. Make certain that there is sufficient ventilation (bath fan) to remove humidity.

You must source and kill off the mold. If it is hiding in the wall, the wall is going to have to be opened up. You might cut an opening and stick a mirror and flashlight in there to see what you are up against.

Now if the mold is growing because of moisture from the surface that is easier to address. You cannot skip the step or you will be at this eternally. There is no quick fix.
