Painting over exposed Drywall Metal

Heartwoode Newbie   Join Date: Feb 2011 Posts: 5	Painting over exposed Drywall Metal Need to paint a wall that has the some of the metal joint of the drywall exposed and is showing some rust. How do I cover the metal and prepare the wall for painting?

Lightly sand the rust off, and spot prime with rust inhibitive primer.
