painting metal garage door

Hello to all:
HOA forcing me to paint garage door and I was wondering the best way to go about it? I've had experience with indoor painting but not with outdoor. I figured the easiest way is to spray paint it but can't afford that route. If anyone with experience painting a metal garage door can send suggestions, I would really appreciated! thank you all in advance!!

Clean it and use Sherwin Williams Super paint or Duration.
Last one I paint with it was 5 years ago and still looks like new.

I like a 6" foam hot dog style roller and a sash brush for low areas and touch ups.

Never had much luck with the FOAM hotdog rollers........they just don't hold enough paint. Might be better to try a 6" Wizz roller.......holds much more paint and will give you the same type of finish.

The Whiz rollers do pretty good on metal doors.Roll it out smooth there will be a little roller stipple but it lays down pretty good.

All I've ever used on steel and wood doors and trim. Comes out looking like it was spray painted when done.

Joe, how do you get paint on those darn things? I agree that they produce a sprayed on look but I can never get them to hold much paint. I have to keep dipping and redipping just to get some paint on the darn things.
