Painting Kitchen Cabinets. Do I need a clear topcoat?

Just got done painting a section of my kitchen cabinets with Ben Moore Regal 100% Acrylic. Just wondering if I should add some poly or other sort of protective coat over it, or is the acrylic strong enough?

Thanks.

Mike

it is not as durable as the nitrocellulose lacquer that a pro or any manufacturer would use for cabinets. Poly will yellow the color but will yield a more durable washable surface. Kitchen cabinets are exposed to moisture and paint does not hold up well in these conditions.
