Painting interior of vinyl bay window?
I'm trying to develop some kind of mental consensus about everything written on the internet about painting vinyl windows.
The gist seems to be, you CAN do it now with some of the newer super paints. Lots of disagreement about primers, etc. Someone suggested using wilbond as a primer.
Anyhow, right now we're tackling the interior. And I think a vinyl interior can probably take paint more easily than exterior -- probably less expansion/contraction.
The bright white of this large window doesn't jive w/ the decor at all and it would be really nice to paint it a more complementary color, with a spray paint if possible. Any helpful tips for priming/painting/brands or words of experience?
No No No No
Might stick, might not...might void the warrenty
What does the manufacturer of your specific window say?
If they say don't, then don't
If they say you can, then they will also say what is suggested for product and method
