painting a interior masonite mdf door with eggshell?

It's a prehung preprimed door. I plan on using BIN for primer. Is it ok for a door to be painting with eggshell? I've read that semi-gloss is a little bit harder to paint with for an amateur and so I thought I would use eggshell instead. is this ok? I plan on painting the mouldings and baseboards semi-gloss since they're small.

Semi gloss should be no harder to paint than eggshell, you can use either one but for me it would be the semi to match the rest of the trim.
