Painting interior doors and baseboard

Can I use a cheap walmart wagnor power sprayer to paint my interior doors and baseboards (before they are hung) ? Im using 100% acrylic interior semi-gloss enamel. Do I need to thin it down if I can use it ? thanks

I can certainly appreciate your desire to spray the doors/trim. However, the Wal-Mart special would probably not give you the finish you are looking for. I have found that those sprayers 'spit' the paint out rather than spray. You would be much better off renting a airless paint sprayer to get a nice finish.

I agree. Do all your prep work first, then rent a sprayer for a day.

Thinning requirements will be included on the paint label.

Yup, it's a spitter
Prep 'n' rent

Sure, as long as you like paint that looks like hell. Get everything ready, the go to a paint supplier like a Sherwin Williams or Benjamin Moore dealer, and rent a pro quality airless. They can also advise on additives to help the paint spray better.
