painting interior doors

I have dark brown trim and frames in my house. I was wanting to replace the interior doors but I don't want to spend the money on solid wood raised panel doors. I was thinking about buying the primed MDF doors with the raised panel design and paint them. I can't find any pics to see how that would look with the painted doors and dark brown stained trim and frames. Any suggestions?

Go on some of the major paint manufactures web site and look for the design centers.
Some allow you to down load a picture of your own home and you can change the colors on screen.
Benjamin Moore use to having one.

paint them a darker "accent" color or paint the trim and jamb

Db, I have dark trim in my. House with Masonite six panel doors painted white. Looks fine, contrast is nice without looking strange.

Hey Mike, would you mind posting a pic so I can see it. What color are your walls. Sorry I'm a visual learner!

We have the same thing in our house, cream painted doors and
Rift sawn stained trim. It looks good like fire hawks doors, and as he said,
"looks good without looking strange".
