Painting and Glazing Kitchen Cabinet Door
Want to change color of wood cabinet doors to a lighter beige with the glaze left in the crevaces for darker outline of insets, edges, etc.

Fine with me too.
![]() OK, short version. You don't leave the glaze. You paint first, let it dry real good. Put the glaze on where you want it, then start wiping it off till it looks like you want. Better to wipe off too much, let it dry then do it again. Its like salt, easier to add more than take out too much. You can use more than one color glaze too. Put one on, wipe, let dry, put a darker one on and wipe most of it off. Clear top coat if ya want. Experiment some in an inconspicuous place, mebbee out behind the garage where the neighbors won't see.. Last edited by notmrjohn; 08-29-2012 at 03:19 PM. |
