Painting Garage

I have a brand new home and want to paint the inside of the garage...my question is - do I use interior paint, or exterior paint? I was leaning towards exterior, in case I ever wanted to hose it down....anyone have any suggestions?

Either paint would work but I'd never suggest turning a hose on an interior wall. Especially with all the concern over mold these days and the damage that could be done to the drywall.

I use interior
For those that want clean-ability, I use a eggshell sheen
Kitchen & Bath paint is usually more scrub-able

We can't really recommend exterior paint for an interior. YOU can do it, but be aware that some, if not all, exterior colors are not suitable for an interior envirornment, due to voc's.

If you are wanting to be able to wash it, then i would prime with a flat paint then for your top coat i would use semigloss.
I also a gree with not turning a hose to interior walls, as said before the mold factor being important.
