Painting Foundation

Hey Guys!!!!!

I want to paint my block foundation (exterior). I've seen some bad paint jobs with chipping/peeling paint so I was hoping that someone had a good suggestion on what type/brand of paint to use to do this.

I thought about drylock, even though it is meant for indoor application to stop water. It is thick and durable, but too damn expensive.

Any suggestions?

Scrape, wire brush to remove peeling paint.........Loxon Primer from SW........and finish coat of your choice.

Gymschu,

No need to scrape or remove peeling paint. The foundation is currently unpainted

Apply H&C solid masonry stain, you can find it at Sherwin Williams. It won't peel like paint will down the road.
