Painting Fascia

I am repainting the Fascia wood boards, and there is a 1/4 gap or less where 2 boards meet.

What is the best way to fill in the gap?

Painting Fascia

You can use Dap exterior grade paintable silicone - white or Ge silicone II Xst paintable interior/exterior white or some other name braded paintable exterior silicone.
