Painting/covering composite wood

Hi all,
My patio base is a peachy composite wood. It looks alright after I power spray it, but I want a cleaner look. I was looking into a product like Ames Liquid granite because of the desert heat here, in Las Vegas, but it is VERy expensive. I do not want to stain it but rather, use some kind of textured product in a neutral or speckled color. My pool has a white/cream cool deck and I am looking for something to match. This is about 100 sf.

Have you considered using a color stain to add a different look to the surface of the wood? I know you mentioned you did not want to go the route of clear, but a color may add some pop to your pool space. Make sure you prepare the wood with the right products before to ensure the stain sets properly!
