Painting Cabinets

Is it okay to paint cabinets in cold mobile home? We are remodeling our mobile home. There is no electricity on right now, we wanted to get the painting done before we move in and turn on electric. Will it be too cold inside to paint them? The temperature is 47 degrees here today. :)

Most paints have a temp range on the bucket for storage, application, drying and the like. Plus, it really varies on the type of paint. The guy mixing the paint should be able to help clarify for you.

Don't forget the primer :)

And thorough prep before the primer. Can you slip a neighbor a few bucks and run an extension cord for a little ceramic space heater? Or does the trailer park have outdoor outlets you might tap for this? At 47F you are near the threshold for paint curing, especially interior, and even if it does it may take awhile that chilly.

There are some exterior paints designed for curing in lower temperatures and additives but I don't think for interior paints.

At a real paint store, but at a big box place, probably not
