Question

Painting bathroom vanities

We are remodeling our bathroom, and I will be installing new unfinished vanities. My question is about how to properly prime, paint and seal them for this environment. I am told I need to prime first, then paint, but not necessarily seal. I am not sure if it's the type of paint that does not require a sealer over it. But what about the inside parts that I didn't plan to paint that won't really show? Can anyone please advise the best brands, etc. to use to make the project look good and to last longer? Thanks in advance for any help.
