Painting Bathroom Cabinets

Hi All:

My wife and I are planning to repaint the cabinets in our bathroom...any suggestions? They are currently brown, but we would like to paint them white...

I will also add that the final look (and durability) of a paint project depends greatly on the prep work and the quality of your supplies.
