Painting the Bathroom
Hey, new to the forum but it looks like a great place to get my questions answered. I have a bathroom remodel that is in process. It consisted of taking the bathroom down to studs and floor joists and then building back up from there. I have since installed new drywall (green) and applied a textured swirl sand finish to the walls and ceilings. I went to Sherwin Williams and got their advice on primer for the ceilings and walls and paint for the ceiling and here is what the guy recommended.
Primer - SW Drywall Primer (just their basic line)
Ceiling Paint - SW Classic 99 Satin finish Latex
After looking around on this site, it looks like maybe I should go a different route. Any opinions? I haven't opened anything yet so I'm fine with taking it back if there is a different route I should take...
Also, I've heard that I should use a semi-gloss to enhance the texture as opposed to anything flatter, what's your advice???
Wkat they recommended sounds fine to me
The Classic 99 in satin will have plenty of sheen to show off the texture.
