painting

I paint my kitchen cabinets with a oil-based paint. I then put shellac on them, which caused them to yellow. How can I get the shellac off without having to repaint the cabinets?

I am guessing you are going to have to re paint but try removing the shellac with denatured alcohal and see what happens. It should have no effect on the oil paint, but?
