Painting

I painted over a semi gloss walls in my bathroom. (Which I have done before without any problems) The paint is still tacky to the touch after 5 days and will literally peel off on some walls. How am I supposed to remove the paint?

You have not indicated whatt ytpe of paint you used. Newer paints (Such as zero-VOC and some oils) are formulated with little solvent or high-solids alkyds which, promote slow dry. The answer may be more ventilation and more patience...

What type of paint did you use over the semigloss?

The temperature or moisture may be the problem. Were the walls clean?

If you find that the temperature or moisture is the problem and allow the paint to cure by fixing the problem, then you can scrape off the bubbles and peeling paint. Then patch the spots with compound. Sand it smooth, prime the spots, then spot paint them. You might want to go over the walls again after the spots are done.

Is the bathroom constantly humid from shower and bath usage?

how clean were the walls?
