Painted kitchen cabs... now drawers don't slide

Does anyone have any tips how to make my newly painted kitchen drawers slide? They are the old, "slide into an empty cavity" type. When I put them back in after painting they don't slide. I had to push really hard to get them in, and then pull even harder to get them back out.

Thanks for the help.

Is the paint on the drawers sticking to the paint on the faceframe and causing friction? Or are the drawers so tight that the paint just made them tighter?

If there is room, UHMW plastic strips with adhesive backing can be applied to the drawer or the runners. That stuff is super-slick.
