Painted Kitchen Cabinets (They're Sticking)

I sanded, primed with Zinsser, and painted with Bear semi-gloss. Doors are hung and adjusted and all is beautiful; except some of the cabinet doors are sticking. To the silicone seal in side the kitchen cabinet. I've used alcohol to wipe off excess paint and stop sticking. However, a couple are still doing it. What solvent can I use that won't give me a bigger "gummier" mess?

Is it oil or water base paint?

This is called "blocking", as latex paints do not form a hard film. Alcohol will soften the paint. Use talcum powder to alleviate sticking.

If the door is sticking to the frame then get those little silicon half circle door stops or self sticking felt on corners.

Sometimes you have to, to do it right. Behr is one paint that I will never let enter my home. I use mainly Valspar in my home. Never had any issues with it.

What is the humidity level in the home? How hot was it where you painted the cabinets? Did you paint them in the Kitchen, or take the doors out to the garage and paint them?

Depending on the temp & humidity inside the home. Plus the fact that you used Behr paint which is half the problem. The other question is how long ago did you paint the cabinets? Also was the paint stirred very well? What was used to clean off the surfaces of the cabinets and doors, before you painted them?

There's a box. A door. Attached by a hinge. With a handle. Maybe a bumper rubber or felt. What is this "silicone seal" we are talking about?
Pic?
