Paint suggestions needed.

In a previous thread, I was looking for a mesh, which I was able to find. Now, I'm looking to paint it. The type of plastic is polyethylene. I need a paint, rubber, whatever, that won't chip, and will last a while. I use this mesh on my Jeep to keep rocks from hitting the radiator. I don't care about price, but I do care about how long it takes to paint it. A spray paint would be the fastest.
Here is a picture of the product that I'm looking to paint:

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Evyll, Krylon makes a spray called Fusion which is formulated for plastic. I'm not sure if it would work with pe or due to the flexibility of the mesh, but I can't think of anything else that would. Give it a shot, can't hurt.

I appreciate the suggestion. I went out and bought a can tonight, and it didn't work. I could easily scrape it off with my finger.

So, I'm open to other suggestions.

Cure time is seven days. And yes, it's spec'd for polyethylene.

Evyll, rather is correct. All of a paint's characteristics are a function of its dry/cure time. A common mistake of many. Let it set for seven days, then give it the evyll eye.

Try using the "DIP" that is used for hand tools such as pliers, channel locks, etc. It comes in a variety of standard colors and it remains flexible.
I've used it on different materials but don't know if it's "PE" specific. Otherwise, ?

Since the material is already plastic why not just leave it unpainted? If you're worried about how it looks put it behind your regular grill in front of the radiator. It should blend in nicely installed that way you won't have to worry about painting it or repainting at when it becomes chipped!
