Paint Sprayer Recommendation

  • I'm looking for recommendations on a paint sprayer, a topic I know very little about. I need something that will last and is multi-functional. I'm willing to spend some money, but obviously prefer it not be too painful. Specifically, I'm looking to do the following with it:
  • The immediate task (and my main concern right now) is to paint the exterior of a house, which includes both brick and wood, but I will also need to paint both the interior and exterior of another fairly large house. I also own rental property with several units, so I'll need to repaint the apartments periodically. Finally, I'd also like to be able to use the sprayer for fairly small/detail type jobs such as trim, doors, windows, etc.
Does such a machine exist that can do all these things?
If so, is there one worth buying for $1000 or less?
From the research I've done, I'm I correct in assuming that I should stay away from Wagner and anything offered at Home Depot/Lowe's?
Is it worth renting a sprayer for the first project before purchasing one?
Does Sherman Williams sell anything worth buying - I have an account there?

Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

you can pick your self up a little graco they are great rigs how ever read your owners manual on it's functions so you dont' hurt your self 3 importnat things to learn about this machine is always turn your prim vaulve off and release pressure when you shut off rig if your not familure with using a spray rig.

secondly keep cleaning until clear water comes out of gun do this same thing when you turn your prim vaulve open.

Thirdly when your all done using you sprayer and are ready to store away run anti freeze in your lines and rig this will protect your seals and rings from cracking and failing
