Paint Sprayer

I'm about to spray an entire basement floor to ceiling.
I think it helps make them not feel like a dungeon.
I've never used a sprayer before.

I'd like to buy rather than rent because I will use it in the future.
Can a gun worth having be had for under $100 bucks? If so which one?
I'd like to spend about $10 on the Harbor Freight one, but I don't have time to gamble buying it, then having it not work.

If your going to be spraying out your interior you will want an airless sprayer with a minimum of .25gpm and 3000psi. That is a smaller airless, but will work well for your needs. it will spray oil and latex base products and is usually ment for light use, occasional use. A smaller sprayer will usually only support a tip up to a 015. Which you can still spray latex through, with the exception of thicker latexes such as block fillers. You will want a piston pump and not a diaprham, as piston pumps last longer and spray on the up and down stroke. You can get a small decent airless sprayer for $300-500.

How do people feel about the Wagner "paint crew" plus.
It boast specs about 10% lower than the above recomendations.
It's a bit more economical, but I'd rather cry once.
I also liked to feature that it has power roller ability.
Does anybody own one?

I don't know anything about the wagner paint crew. All i do know is that wagner and spraytech are owned by titan. I already gave you my advice for a small diy sprayer that will last

I appreciate your advise: I am looking for other opinions as well.
Your suggestion involves re-thinking the budget.
I will probably end up buying something nicer than I previously budgeted for, but if I could get by with a cheaper unit and not kick myself for it later that would be great.

Titan, Speeflo, Spraytech, and Amspray all owned by WAGNER Yup.

Worst company on the planet if you ask me. When Wagner bought Titan, guess what. My account got trashed, and im no longer a service center...they also ship me products C.O.D...so my account is gone too. Thats fine, I can buy everything I need for repairs online...for less money...and with free shipping...go figure

THe airless sprayers for less than $300 are junk. On occasion, and, in a pinch, I have purchased a Wagner to do ONE job, maybe some fence panels or some shutters. After that one job, I throw it away........they are a b**** to clean.
