paint sprayer

http://www.harborfreightusa.com/usa/...o?itemid=91011

I've got a room with a very high ceiling, and it's got a very coarse wood paneling on it. I want to pay it with a latex paint and was wondering if this cheap sprayer would handle it...

I really don't want to use a brush/roller because of the height of the ceiling and all, It'll kill me.

No, that's the wrong kind of sprayer
You really need an "airless" paint sprayer

A cheap Wagner one project airless spitter big enough to handle the job would run about the same as renting a good unit for a day

I'd say rent one
It reduces the swear factor and down time considerably over the Wagner spitters
And the Wagners are rarely good for more than one big project anyway

paint sprayer

I bought one of these and it's great for outdoor painting....not sure I'd use it inside. I painted my garage and lawn shed with it and plan on using it on my fence. It is also a pain to clean....but what a time and back saver! If it never works again it has paid for itself. http://www.epinions.com/pr-Shop_Tool..._Paint_Sprayer

Definately go to a paint store that deals with pro painters and rent a quality airless. About the only thing equals to a cheap sprayer is a cheap adjustable wrench. You will get a better quality finish in half the time with one tenth of the frustration.
