Paint sprayer

I am looking to paint the outside of my house and am looking into a paint sprayer for under $150. Painting is my absolute least favorite DIY thing to do but I like to save money so I've elected to do it myself. What's a good exterior paint sprayer to buy?

I'm leaning towards the $130 Wagner flexio. Also can paint sprayers such as these spray the behr premium plus primer and paint in one exterior paint?

Also any one have any tips to spraying also?

Paint sprayer

For painting the outside of your house, you're better off getting a reconditioned or used airless sprayer. HVLP sprayers like the Wagner will likely be too slow for a house exterior.

Yep.Don't.Brush and roll it will be a lot easier than a sprayer in the hands of someone that doesn't know how to use it.Especially a $150 sprayer that isn't going to be a very good piece of equipment anyway.

Paint sprayer

You can rent a decent sprayer for around $75.00 a day. Spray the eves and siding and then do all the trim by hand. Those little hand held sprayers are not meant to paint the complete exterior.

Paint sprayer

That's pretty much overkill $1400 for a pro sprayer, just as $150 is unrealistic. To paint an ext. the best advice is to get a used one. Now having said that from your post the knowledge you have of sprayers leads me to believe you would not know what you were getting. I am a spray guy but I think in this case brush and roller is best.
