paint sprayer

i am looking for an interior sprayer for when we build our house... i would like to purchase one for future use as well, but they seem to be a bit too expensive. i saw this http://www.homedepot.com/webapp/wcs/...ctId=100028619 and was wondering what kind of job it will do for that price. should i buy something like that or rent a better quality one?

paint sprayer

I am unable to open the link.
As far as what would be a good sprayer for a HO. if you are going to be using it in the building of your new home, i would suggest something like a graco 395 or a titan 440i.
Both those sprayers are of good quality, they can both be used for your trim work, they both could also be used to spray and back rolling your ceilings if you do not push them to hard. Spraying and back rolling your walls would really be kind of pushing it, depending on the size of your home. I would recommend a Graco 495 ultramax or ultramax2 .If you in the future need to do any large amount of spraying.

Now since your link was for a Home Depot i would have to guess that you are looking at one of three types.

1. magnum line. I would not really recommend this line due to the fact that it will not hold up for the long haul, it may handle your immediate job, yet it might not work very good the next time you go to use it.

2. Graco 190es. This is a good starter sprayer. It will handle your trim, and will be able to do some ceiling work, if it is not pushed to hard. This sprayer if taken care of will last for many years.

3. Titan Rent spray. This sprayer is actually a titan 640i or a 640ix depending on how long the rental department has had it. This sprayer will spray all your ceilings, trim, and walls if you plan on spraying walls.

If you are thinking of renting from HD then i would definetly consider buying one of their rentals. You would want to inquire on when this sprayer was last repacked, as this could have been neglected ( but this should not be the case )

I opened the link and i had forgotten about those little wagners.

Those rate lower than the magnum line, it will be more trouble than it's worth. More than likely when you go to use it later it will not work, or even worse while you are in the middle of using it it will stop working.
