paint remover exterior windows

Hello
I'm about to venture into a project as soon as the weather cools off here in
Mich. 88 degrees, My daughter has 27 windows a couple need sill repair others are wood bare and in need of simple care and preparing for the primer coat.
I don't want to use a heat gun near the glass this may crack the glass and also they are thermal sealed.

Could I use paint stripper along the molding next to the glass?

Depends on the exact type of windows and what they used or sealing...and what the manufacturer says about it

But usually it's just scrape and sand
Unless the glass is glazed, and can be re-glazed

You can only do so much and play it safe with windows

Why do you want to strip the existing paint? Certainly scrape and sand to remove what is loose, but why take off the paint that is adhering well?

I wouldn't use remover next to glass- may mess up factory seals. Just scrape and sand - prime it and they'll look great.
