I have a vintage wood frame door with wire mesh screen.
On the metal screen is painted Rainbow Bread ad. Condition is poor.
The frame is good condition.
Would like to know what material to use to paint on the wire screen to
duplicate the vintage ad . I just read of something called polychrome
enamel. But not sure ! Any suggestions would be appreciated ! Thanks.

I would use 100 percent artist acrylics for the screen. Or something like One Shot sign painters paint.



If the screen is showing signs of oxidation you do need to address that with a metal primer.
