Paint garage interior?

I'm building a new garage. I want it bright and clean inside. Any reasons I should not paint the OSB sheathing and studs on the inside? I was thinking of things like it's ability to dry out/breath/???

Any benefits to the painting beyond the aesthetic ones?

The outside will be that James Hardie cement/fiber siding.

Upper midwest challenging winters.

Paint garage interior?

No real benefit other than aesthetic- makes things look larger and cleaner. No problem painting make sure it's dry before you do so you don't trap moisture in the wood...
