Paint Crown Moulding

Does anyone know what it cost to have 7 inch poplar paint grade crown moulding primed and painted? What is the cost by the linear foot?

Are you going to paint this yourself? If so, plan on spending about $35 for a gallon of paint, $12-14 on a brush, $5 on some easy removal masking tape, $10-$15 on a good drop cloth (or a cheaper plastic one if you like). If primer is necessary, then add $20-$25 or so for the primer. Possiably some sand paper if the surface is very rough. And your time...

What a professional would charge? There are so many variables that it is almost impossiable to tell, is it hard to access, furniture to move, floors to protect, ? If you plan to have someone do it, then I would call a few people for quotes.

Jamie is right about costs and professionals will vary. You should make sure the price isn't just cheaper because the materials are cheaper, you'll get what you pay for there.
