Paint Cracks in the Bathroom Ceilling

Hi Everybody...
I renovated my bathroom 4, 5 years ago.
The paint over the shower have a big crack.
I didn't use bathroom paint at the time.
I have a ventilator in the bathroom.
My question is how do I repaint now ? How to repair the crack? sand all ???
Your suggestion for paint brand? I'm in Canada?
Thanks in advance...

Paint Cracks in the Bathroom Ceilling

It is going to depend on your definition of "big crack"

Tape and mud crack, sand smooth, remove dust, prime and paint.
A bathroom type paint will work.

I'm in Canada? Are you sure?

Paint Cracks in the Bathroom Ceilling

Hi Chrisin
Thanks for your reply, may be my description is a little bit off.
The paint is cracking and pealing off not the wood/ceilling.
Thanks again.
