What walls are they, is the outside on the other side of them? Is it the top or bottom of the walls, or throughout? Has this been an issue for as long as you owned the house? Try to give a bit more info.

Was there wallpaper before you painted?

Were walls prepped properly? Did you sand and remove dust from the walls before priming? You did prime with a quality drywall primer? Apply 2 coats? Millions of variables here and we need more info to help you. Adding a pic of the problem really helps also.

first off you have your cap lock on. second what did you do for prep work? what is the substarit you are painting? where is it cracking? on the taped seams? nail pops? what? a photo is worth so much to help us help you.

If it is on exterior walls, could be too much moisture from the inside of the house. Same in vice-versa. I'd say to check for moisture problems.

That might be the problem.

That's the first thing that crossed my mind Matt. I've seen it before firsthand and we just discussed it here a few weeks back. But, the problem is only ever with ceilings, not walls, that I've ever seen or heard. That's why I asked if it was the top of the walls, where it might be possible that the heat coming off the ceiling is affecting them.

I bet the person that came up with RADIANT CEILING HEAT is the same person that came up with partical board, Masonite siding, quest tubing, Cellotex, and orangeberg pipe.

Heat rises, why put it in a ceiling?

The problem is that for ceiling heat to radiate downward you have to really heat up the ceiling and I am sure that is just putting a heck of a whoppin on that paint.
