Paint the ceiling or primer only?

abefroman Member   Join Date: Jan 2009 Posts: 198	Paint the ceiling or primer only? Do people usually paint the ceiling if they are leaving it white, or just put primer on it? The walls were a light blue before, I put 1 coat or primer on, and I can see the blue faintly coming through still, should I put another coat of primer on the walls? TIA

Matthewt1970 Member     Join Date: Sep 2008 Posts: 1,489	Paint the ceiling or primer only? Primer is never good for a top coat. It is porous and will absorb dirt grime and anything else that comes in contact with it.
