Outdoor Finish For Cedar

I went to an Amish auction today and picked up an unfinished cedar glider.
I need some recommendations for a finish.
The piece will be outside for the summer months.
I want to keep the natural look of the cedar wood
What's your thoughts?

Wouldn't we all....

Sikkens log and siding is what I use...Plan on coating it once a year.

I think I would use something like Australian Timber oil, or Olympic Maximum clear sealer. Something that is designed to penetrate, rather than form a film. Something like that you could spray it on with a garden sprayer and brush it in. That's going to make it a lot easier to get all sides of the boards.

Send it to me and I'll put my famous torched paraffin finish on it.

The only guarantee is you'll never get it back.

CWF-UV. It's effective and reasonably priced at about $20 - $25 per gallon.

All good suggestions- except for Fairview's

I opted for Messmer's UV Plus. Natural finish. A little more money at $35 gal.
But I googled for a good product and found an online outdoor furniture maker who uses this on their products- and I could get it right up the street.

The CWF was also for sale at the auction where I purchased my glider- they make log homes professionally and had several singles and fivers of different colors they were auctioning away. Why I don't know, maybe too old or changing brands....
Some of the other furniture they had there was pre-finished and I really didn't like what ever product they used. It was smelly Maybe still drying? IDK
I made the assumption that it was CWF- so I opted not to get it today even though it was less expensive.

Thanks for your input guys
