oops Used latex primer

Ok I listened to some one and used latex primer instead of oil base primer will this hurt if i use an oil base paint. I'm going from wood to a white trim on the doors and windows. I have primed all with a latex primer. I'd forgotten what my dad told me many years age. Can I use an oil base paint over the latex primer?

While it would be good to know what type of latex primer you used, if it's recommended for wood, it's fine under oil...and whatever your dad told you many years ago would not be applicable today. Latex primers of today have evolved so much that they wouldn't even be recognizable if compared side-by-side to the products of yesterday. For all intents and purposes, latex over oil, and oil over latex will work fine.
