brinajane Newbie   Join Date: Aug 2009 Posts: 2	old pitted paint effect Does anyone know ,How do I create the old pitted paint effect i see on some furniture not just distressed but actually looks like the flat surface is pitted with lots of different sized dots ?

ratherbefishin' (the original)   Join Date: Jun 2007 Location: long beach, ms Posts: 436	old pitted paint effect Take a look at the Rustoleum website. They have a lot of different texture paints and distressing kits. Sounds like their "hammered" finish might be what you're looking for.
