Oil base or latex for bathroom?

I've totally gutted my bathroom and am in the process of re-building from the ground up. I'm a good remodeler, but I don't know all that much about paint.

Around the house I typically use interior satin latex, but want to be sure that I use the correct product for the bathroom. The walls that surround the toilet will be painted, and will need to be easy to clean (I'm a guy...Y'all know what I mean). That makes me think that the durability of an oil based paint would be better??? The same goes for the top 10" of the shower walls above where my tile stops, and the shower's ceiling. They'll get occasional water splatter off my bald head, and a lot of humidity.

Can I use satin/semi-gloss latex or should I go with oil based? How about primer? I bought latex PVA primer but haven't used it yet. I'm assuming I can't put oil based paint over latex primer. Does anyone even use oil based paint indoors anymore?

Return the PVA primer
Use a Zinsser, Ben Moore, or Sherwin Williams acrylic primer
Top with two coats of Zinsser's, Ben Moore's, or Sherwin William's, Kitchen & Bath paints
Or even better, use Ben Moore's Aura for the topcoats
That stuff is killer in bathrooms
...even Man Bathrooms
